Oh how we love Thanksgiving! The family, the food, the shopping; we truly do have so much to be thankful for! But Thanksgiving is so much more then just those simple things. You may just show up when and where you are told, sit back, enjoy the deliciousness, watch some football, and take a nap. Or maybe you are at the top tier of the planning committee. You may be “Grand-mothered” into it or you simply enjoy the logistics of getting everyone together.

There is so much to consider when it comes to Thanksgiving! The location and time of dinner is always important. Aunt Sue has to work so she can’t get there until after 5. But John needs to be at his fiancés house to celebrate with her family. And don’t forget little Billy needs a nap and then in bed by 7.  Then there is meal planning. This could be fairly simple as Mom always bakes the turkey, Grandma does the sweet potatoes, sister likes to experiment with something she found on Pinterest, and if you do not text Joe exactly what to bring he will show up empty handed.  Wow, there is a lot to orchestrate when trying to plan a family get together!

Thanksgiving is a thought out, planned, purposeful event and everyone has a part in making it a memorable occasion. It’s similar when Prévu is planning your move. We can’t simply come in the day of the move and expect a successful outcome without planning, client meetings, vendor coordination tasks, and all the associated activities.  At the end, clients can sit back with a glass of wine (or a piece of pie) and reflect on the success and memories made.

We love what we do, personally and professionally and are continuously thankful for what we have been given!
